About the role

 

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Controller (Record-to-Report) to manage end-to-end financial accounting and reporting activities for multiple legal entities. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial statements, statutory compliance, audit coordination, and IFRS/IAS adherence while supporting regional accounting operations in a shared services environment. The position requires strong technical accounting expertise, hands-on operational ownership, and close collaboration with business units, GBS teams, auditors, and tax authorities.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities for multiple entities.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS, Local GAAP, and internal policies.
  • Oversee general ledger, intercompany, fixed asset, and treasury accounting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and support tax assessments and filings.
  • Analyze Balance Sheet and P&L accounts, resolving accounting issues and ensuring reporting accuracy.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization across accounting operations.
  • Partner with business units, GBS teams, auditors, and stakeholders on accounting and financial matters.

 

Job requirements

 

  • 8–10 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or Record-to-Report operations.
  • Master’s degree or CA qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, Local GAAP, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
  • Experience with ERP and reporting systems such as SAP and HFM.
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and Czech is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
