About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Controller (Record-to-Report) to manage end-to-end financial accounting and reporting activities for multiple legal entities. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial statements, statutory compliance, audit coordination, and IFRS/IAS adherence while supporting regional accounting operations in a shared services environment. The position requires strong technical accounting expertise, hands-on operational ownership, and close collaboration with business units, GBS teams, auditors, and tax authorities.

Key responsibilities

Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities for multiple entities.
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS, Local GAAP, and internal policies.
Oversee general ledger, intercompany, fixed asset, and treasury accounting processes.
Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Coordinate internal and external audits and support tax assessments and filings.
Analyze Balance Sheet and P&L accounts, resolving accounting issues and ensuring reporting accuracy.
Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization across accounting operations.
Partner with business units, GBS teams, auditors, and stakeholders on accounting and financial matters.

Job requirements

8–10 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or Record-to-Report operations.
Master’s degree or CA qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, Local GAAP, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
Experience with ERP and reporting systems such as SAP and HFM.
Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Fluency in English and Czech is required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
