About this role

As the EMEA Pricing & Portfolio Architecture Lead, you will shape the pricing strategy and portfolio architecture for Decorative Paints across EMEA. You will define how brands, products, pack sizes and channels are positioned to maximise revenue and margin, while ensuring a consistent approach across markets. Working closely with regional and country teams, you will combine market insight, analytics and commercial judgement to identify growth opportunities, guide pricing decisions and translate strategic frameworks into practical market actions.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the EMEA pricing framework, including price positioning, price indices, pricing corridors and guardrails across markets.
  • Use consumer, market and competitive insights to develop clear and actionable pricing recommendations.
  • Define approaches to cost recovery and price increases, supporting effective execution across the portfolio.
  • Establish consistent competitive price benchmarking and communicate pricing recommendations, risks and trade-offs to key stakeholders.
  • Own the price-pack and portfolio architecture across brands, product tiers, pack sizes and channels.
  • Assess portfolio performance to identify growth opportunities, structural gaps and opportunities to simplify or optimise the portfolio.
  • Set pricing and portfolio principles for new product launches and portfolio changes in partnership with Brand & Category and Product Management.
  • Partner with regional and country teams to translate strategic guidance into market execution, develop practical decision tools, and monitor price and portfolio performance.

What you bring

  • A Master’s degree in business administration, economics, marketing or a comparable field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in pricing, revenue growth management or commercial strategy, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods or a retail-facing environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with B2C pricing and portfolio strategy, including pricing analysis, simulations and analytical methodologies.
  • A proven track record of developing pricing strategies for multi-market portfolios and successfully implementing them through local teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to connect pricing and portfolio decisions to revenue, margin and overall P&L impact.
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills and working proficiency in Power BI.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation and project management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions, markets and levels in an international organisation.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations, decisions and action plans.
  • Fluent English.
