Customer Business Manager – Screwfix and Tradepoint
Location: Slough / Home based - 1 to 2 days per week in Slough
Competitive salary plus market leading benefits package

 

We’re looking for a commercially driven Customer Business Manager to lead and deliver the Screwfix and Tradepoint account. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving performance, building strong customer relationships, and delivering against our commercial strategy.

What you’ll do:
•    Take full ownership of the Screwfix and Tradepoint accounts, delivering against P&L targets and exceeding budget expectations.  
•    Develop and execute account plans, including forecasting, promotional planning, and investment strategies. 
•    Lead commercial negotiations and manage trading agreements within defined parameters.
•    Build strong, value driven relationships with key customer stakeholders. 
•    Deliver brand plans and support new product introductions aligned to customer needs. 
•    Identify opportunities to unlock category growth and mutual business wins. 
•    Collaborate cross functionally with Finance, Marketing, Category, Supply Chain, and Field Sales teams.
•    Ensure accurate financial management, forecasting, and adherence to business processes. 
•    Maintain and develop a strong customer contact matrix, ensuring effective engagement at all levels. 

What you bring:
•    Proven experience in sales and account management.
•    Strong commercial acumen with experience managing account P&L performance.
•    Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal teams and external customers. 
•    Experience of working in a fast paced, customer driven environment. 
•    Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver against multiple objectives.  
•    Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. 
•    Full UK driving licence and flexibility to attend Slough HQ when required.
