The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, commercially minded marketer who enjoys being out in front of customers, building relationships and bringing ideas to life.

You’ll play a key role in connecting our brands and propositions with some of our most important customers. You’ll be the face of marketing in customer conversations—presenting plans, sharing insights, influencing decisions and creating compelling customer stories that deliver growth. You’ll bring an understanding of the full customer decision journey across both B2B and B2C, including how retail media can influence customers at key moments.
You’ll need to be as comfortable around a customer table as you are developing a marketing plan, with the confidence and commercial judgement to turn customer understanding into action.

What you’ll do
•    Build strong customer relationships – develop trusted partnerships with key customers, understanding their priorities, challenges and opportunities.
•    Lead customer conversations – present marketing plans, insights and recommendations clearly and compellingly, adapting your story to the audience.
•    Influence and inspire – use commercial understanding, customer knowledge and storytelling to shape decisions and gain buy-in for our plans.
•    Bring the customer to life internally – share customer insight and feedback with the wider business so teams understand what matters most.
•    Create customer-focused marketing plans – develop and deliver plans that connect our brands, products and propositions with customer needs and commercial opportunities.
•    Turn insight into action – identify opportunities through customer, category and market insight and translate them into practical marketing activity.
•    Collaborate across the business – work with Brand, Category, Sales and other teams to create joined-up plans and deliver strong customer experiences.
•    Represent the brand – bring energy, enthusiasm and credibility to customer interactions, ensuring our brands stand out and create preference via your strong marketing and product knowledge.
•    Deliver results – track impact, learn what works and continually improve customer and business performance.

What we’re looking for
•    Commercially minded – able to understand customer priorities and connect marketing activity to tangible business outcomes.
•    Confident presenter – comfortable presenting to customers and senior stakeholders, with the ability to simplify information and bring a story to life.
•    Influential and credible – confident challenging thinking, making recommendations and gaining support from others.
•    Problem solver – loves understanding customer challenges, finding practical solutions and turning them into opportunities for customers and the business.
•    Customer focused – genuinely interested in understanding customers and finding ways to help their businesses succeed.
•    Strong marketing experience – a proven track record of developing and delivering effective marketing plans, with the ability to connect brand, channel and customer activity to commercial outcomes.
•    Understands the full customer decision journey – able to understand and influence the end-to-end journey across both B2B and B2C audiences, from awareness and consideration through to purchase, loyalty and advocacy.
•    Retail media experience – experienced in building retail media plans that use the right channels, audiences, content and activation to influence customers at key points in the decision journey.
•    Collaborative and energetic – brings people together, builds momentum and enjoys working across teams to make things happen.
•    Curious and proactive – always looking for new opportunities, ideas and better ways of working.

Why this role?
This is a role where your personality, commercial judgement and ability to connect with customers can make a real difference. You’ll work directly with important customers, influence commercial decisions and see your ideas translated into activity in market.

If you enjoy presenting, thrive on customer interaction and get energy from turning ideas into results, this could be the role for you.
