Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive marketing strategy and execution for the Professional portfolio across ASEAN, aligned with regional and global priorities.
  • Develop strategic marketing plans, brand positioning, pricing, and go-to-market initiatives to grow the Projects business.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner with country Sales and Marketing teams to execute local marketing plans and monitor business performance (sales, market share, margins).
  • Build relationships with key customers, developers, contractors, consultants, and industry stakeholders to drive project specifications.
  • Manage the Professional portfolio's marketing budget (A&P) and support country PMR activities.

Innovation & Portfolio Management

  • Develop and execute the innovation roadmap, managing new product launches, portfolio lifecycle, and Stage-Gate processes.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to deliver innovation projects and optimise portfolio performance.
  • Adapt packaging, branding, and product specifications to meet local market needs while maintaining regional consistency.

Brand Communications & Activation

  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns, brand communications, and digital content to strengthen the Dulux Professional brand.
  • Work with agencies and internal teams to deliver impactful campaigns and measure effectiveness.
  • Drive technical marketing, sustainability communications, industry engagement, and trade events to enhance brand visibility and influence specifications.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 8-10 years of brand marketing experience of at least 3 years in B2B marketing with ability to independently lead the project’s marketing and product portfolio management agenda.
  • Sound understanding of the paints industry preferred and experience in B2B marketing is a must. Candidates from Décor Projects, Construction, Building or Chemical industry are welcome.
  • Experience in demand generation, lead generation and nurturing is preferred. Decorative Paints – ASEAN
  • Understanding of Project/construction customer journey and customer experience/ touchpoints along journey
  • Data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills, with experience in using primary and syndicated research/insights, market and competitive analysis to elevate performance
  • Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and collaborate with multiple teams across multiple geographies, time zones and cultures.
  • Skilled at influencing opinion to accomplish business goals and objectives while maintaining strong interpersonal relationships across various functions and various management stakeholders.
  • Strong detail orientated with strong project management skills on multi-market projects.
  • Proficient in English.
