Job Purpose

Lead the design, deployment, stabilization, and continuous improvement of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and digital logistics solutions across the North America region. Ensure successful adoption of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) processes, aligning technology with business needs to drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and service reliability. Will serve as the primary interface between logistics operations, Information Technology, and external partners, ensuring that transportation operations support company standards, regulatory compliance, and customer service goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Transportation Management Systems (TMS) implementation and transport-related projects, managing end-to-end delivery from planning through deployment and stabilization.
  • Support the design, standardization, and optimization of transportation processes, ensuring alignment with global standards and digital roadmap.
  • Serve as business lead to translate operational requirements into Transportation Management Systems (TMS) functionality, ensuring seamless integration with logistics operations.
  • Coordinate activities across logistics, Information Technology, finance, procurement, business units, and operations to ensure effective project execution and system adoption.
  • Develop project documentation, training materials, and change management communications to drive successful adoption of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and digital platforms.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and deliverables.  Will report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for process optimization and digitalization in partnership with the Transport Control Tower and Global Transport Center of Excellence.
  • Provide post-deployment support, i to include issue resolution, process stabilization, and ongoing enhancements to Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and logistics platforms.
  • Ensure transportation processes comply with internal policies, regulations, and Health/Safety/Environmental standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 years' experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Proven experience leading logistics transformation, system implementation, or transport control tower initiatives.
  • Knowledgeable of transportation processes, carrier management, and logistics operations.  Freight Spend Responsibility: >$100M. 
  • Familiar with supply chain procedures (warehousing, transportation, customs, etc.) and logistics organizations managed by insourced and outsourced suppliers (Logistics, 4PL).
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) platforms.  SAP TM and SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L) experience preferred.
  • Proficiency using reporting and analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.  
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills.
  • Strong project management, coordination, and leadership skills.
  • Effective business administration and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to perform accurate mathematical computations. Must be able to use a data-driven approach to resolve issues.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
