Especialista de Compras CAPEX (Ingles Avançado) - Mauá

Job Purpose:

• This is Procurement role for leading the CAPEX/Manufacturing Equipment category within Indirect Procurement in Latin America.

Key Activities

• The primary responsibilities center around sourcing strategy development including most effective approach to market based on site requirements, RFPs, contract negotiations, supplier performance evaluation. All of the above to be managed according the AkzoNobel ‘Ranger’ process and in close collaboration with project teams, regional engineering manager, site engineers, site managers and local procurement team.
• This role will operate under the stewardship of the Global Sourcing Director and regional category manager.
• This position requires an individual with a strong background in Indirect Procurement, stakeholder management, In addition, excellent communication skills, as well the ability to deliver business results and being an ambassador of a cultural change.
• This role will use their sourcing knowledge to improve the Latin America procurement results and drive the agenda for equipment and process standardization and overall.
• Prepare business cases supporting sourcing recommendations including competitive bidding, negotiating, analyzing data and market trends.
• To use Coupa sourcing tool managing purchase requests and sourcing events.
• Provide contract management and interface with Legal department.
• Able to interact with multiple stakeholders in regional cluster of countries.
• Identify, develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to increase engagement..
• The role will have to identify opportunities for cost savings and lead sourcing initiatives.

Job requirements and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration, engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish and English required.
• Prior experience in CAPEX/Manufacturing Equipment and Services procurement required.
• Prior experience with Procurement sourcing suites is desirable (SAP Ariba, Coupa, etc.).
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
