Job Purpose

A Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing marketing campaigns, to increase brand awareness, drive product sales, and strengthen market share across various channels.

This role requires a blend of creative content creation, detailed market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, often focusing on both consumer and professional target groups.  This role will contribute to building stronger, more purposeful brands, driving sustainable, competitive, and profitable growth, and inspiring the next generation of marketeers to embrace the Future of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Campaign Development & Execution: Develop and implement marketing plans (digital and traditional) aimed at launching new paint products, increasing brand recognition, and driving customer engagement.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Perform in-depth research on consumer trends, competitor activities, and industry developments (e.g., color trends, eco-friendly demand) to inform strategic decisions.
  • Brand Management & Content: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms, including social media, websites, email, and printed promotional materials (e.g., color palettes, technical data sheets).
  • Customer Marketing: Translating the EMEA category& channel vision into local customer marketing plans. Deliver local customer marketing strategy. Responsible for delivering the shopper strategy, shelf optimization, account specific promotions/activations, displays, trade events and evaluation of these initiatives. Building partnerships with existing customers and channels. Be the linking pin between marketing & sales and ensure all plans are aligned; maximizing physical availability and activating campaigns instore. Co-create POS/Print/Color collateral catalogues
  • Performance Tracking: Utilize data analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like ROI, lead generation, and web traffic, providing reports on campaign effectiveness.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with external agencies for creative production and media planning.
