Job Purpose
- Warehouse & Transportation Process Standardization
- Assess current warehouse and transportation process maturity, identify gaps, and deploy standardized global and regional processes to ensure consistent execution across sites.
- Operational Excellence in Logistics Execution
- Drive effective warehouse and transportation action processes to improve service levels, productivity, throughput, cost efficiency, and reliability across the logistics network.
- SAP and Digital Process Enablement
- Act as a regional process owner and coach for SAP Logistics Execution–related processes, supporting WMS, transportation execution, and data accuracy to enable seamless system‑driven operations.
- Performance Management & Data‑Driven Decision Making
- Establish and manage performance measurement frameworks, conduct data analysis, and deliver clear reporting and insights on warehouse and transportation KPIs (SQCPD) to support operational and management decisions.
- Governance, Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, and logistics governance through tracking, monitoring, and auditing of warehouse and transportation processes.
- Stakeholder Alignment & Capability Building
- Serve as the key interface between sites, logistics service providers, Control Tower, IM, and global process teams, while coaching and upskilling key users to ensure strong process ownership and adoption.
Key Accountabilities
Warehouse and Transportation Process manager
- Lead warehouse process deployment projects across the region, ensuring alignment with global standards and local operational requirements.
- Manage and deliver WMS projects for allocated RM, PM, and FG sites, with the ability to run multiple projects in parallel.
- Act as SAP Process Coach under the LE (Logistics Execution) module, supporting and guiding warehouse and transport execution processes across sites.
- Drive warehouse and transport action processes, ensuring process adherence, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Own and maintain the warehouse master data and related logistics data with correct attributes across the assigned geography, ensuring ERP accuracy and data integrity.
- Support and coach key users by:
- Training and guiding key users on warehouse, transport, and SAP LE processes and tools
- Acting as the linking pin between CoE BPM, BPOs, IM teams, and local key users
- Work closely with global and regional teams to roll out delivery and warehouse processes (e.g. WMS, MDI, delivery management, and gatekeeping processes).
- Coordinate with central Master Data and System Support teams to ensure accurate and timely master data updates supporting warehouse, transport processes.
- Data analysis, reporting, and performance management
- Perform warehouse and transport data analysis, including productivity, throughput, service, quality, and cost metrics
- Develop and enhance performance reporting and dashboards for warehouse, transport, and logistics execution processes
- Provide actionable insights to site operations and management to support improvement initiatives
Key Activities
- Import & Export (I&E) process support
- Develop and maintain import/export process reporting, ensuring transparency, compliance, and performance tracking
- Measure, track, and improve warehouse performance (LSP, throughput, productivity) across operations, countries, and BUs.
- Track, monitor, and audit warehouse, transport, and logistics execution processes to ensure adherence to standard processes, SAP governance, and audit requirements.
- Maintain, monitor, and publish service and performance reports, including deviation analysis and corrective action tracking.
- Support deployment of required digital applications, including change management, adoption, and training.
- Act as SAP expert (Warehouse & Logistics Execution), supporting WMS, and LE process execution across the region.
- Govern and support MDG (Master Data Governance) relevant to warehouse management, delivery routing, transport execution.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Service Level Performance (OTIF / On‑Time Delivery)
- Measure on‑time and in‑full delivery performance across warehouse and transportation operations.
- Indicates effectiveness of end‑to‑end logistics execution and customer service reliability.
- Cost Efficiency (Logistics Cost Performance)
- Control and improvement of warehouse and transportation cost per unit, including storage, handling, and transport costs versus budget and baseline.
- Tracks impact of process optimization and improvement projects.
- Process Adherence & Compliance Rate
- Level of adherence to standard warehouse, transportation, SAP LE and import/export processes, measured through audits, assessments, or quarterly reviews.
- Ensures governance, risk mitigation, and audit readiness.
- Improvement & Digital Deployment Effectiveness
- Successful on-time delivery of warehouse and transportation process initiatives (e.g. WMS, SAP LE enhancements, reporting dashboards, CI projects), including user adoption and realized benefits.
- Demonstrates capability to translate process design into operational results.
Experience
The successful applicant should meet the following requirements:
- Graduate engineer with experience in supply chain and warehouse solution design, degree in SCM or related field preferred.
- Experience of 8+ years
- Analytical & strong stakeholder management skills
- Data science, analytics, modelling and WMS project experience will be advantage
- Experience in Digital applications
