About the Project Management Office (PMO) department

The scope of the PMO department consists of a couple dozen projects, mainly in the Transformation Office,  HR or Finance space with a total spend of several million. Our team is a mix of senior, medium and junior level Program/Transition/Project managers as well as Project Supports. We all enjoy sharing our expertise and passion with others. For that reason, and to bring in fresh talent and ideas, we would like to have interns in our team. So please read the internship description below and let us know if you’re interested. 

Key Objectives

•    Supporting 1 or 2 different global projects or transitions
•    Maintaining general administration activities of the PMO 
•    Responsible for organizing reoccurring PMO project/transition sessions 
•    Supporting a Project Manager  

Key Accountabilities and activities

•    Contribute to the objective of the project through driving and monitoring progress 
•    Create/ perform/analyze project management overviews (costs, quality, and time)
•    Assist with continuous improvement of current project/ transition processes
•    Handling mailbox and queries
•    Organizing companywide meetings on project management knowledge sharing
•    Supporting the task of chasing stakeholders to deliver input
•    Support with gathering KPI’s from the project manager/ transition managers
•    Support in the preparation of meetings (booking of meeting rooms, writing invitation, creating a distribution list, agenda’s/actions/minutes etc.) 
•    Translate analysis and data into appealing presentations (develop storylines, agenda’s, slides)
•    Being able to set the right message to stakeholders of all levels 
•    Store and clean up documents in the digital library

Who can apply?

The internship is open for 3rd year Bachelor or Master students that are enrolled at a university and for those who want to gain hands on experience in an international environment. We expect you to be available 4-5 days a week to work on projects within our department. Being available 40h is a plus. A background in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science or International Relations is preferred.
