Purpose of the role

As Quality Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that all products delivered to customers consistently meet agreed quality standards. You play a key role in safeguarding product integrity by leading quality processes, overseeing audits and maintaining certifications. You embed a strong quality culture across the site and drive continuous improvement through the deployment of structured quality management practices.


Key responsibilities

Quality management and compliance

  • Lead and continuously improve the Site Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and other applicable standards
  • Maintain all required quality certifications and ensure readiness for internal and external audits
  • Prepare, guide and follow up on customer and internal audits

Operational quality control

  • Plan and manage Quality Control resources to meet both internal and external customer expectations
  • Oversee batch testing, product release and periodic product reviews
  • Ensure effective quality control at tolling sites in line with defined inspection plans
  • Monitor batch performance and ensure structured escalation when deviations occur

Continuous improvement and innovation

  • Drive the deployment of ALPS Quality Management processes and principles
  • Work closely with RD&I and Production to integrate quality into the full manufacturing process
  • Support implementation of new technologies such as in line testing to enhance product quality
  • Ensure robust processes are in place for new product introductions and product transfers

Customer focus

  • Collaborate with Sales, Technical teams and Quality Control to monitor customer satisfaction
  • Lead investigations into customer complaints and ensure effective corrective actions and improvement plans

Collaboration and knowledge sharing

  • Actively contribute to the global quality community and share best practices
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to strengthen end to end quality performance

People leadership and management

  • Inspire and engage the team in line with company purpose, values and leadership behaviours
  • Create a safe and open environment where individuals and teams can perform at their best
  • Set clear objectives, provide constructive feedback and support professional development
  • Build a strong talent pipeline and proactively manage retention and succession
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE, regulatory and company policies
  • Manage budgets responsibly and report progress in a structured and transparent way

What you bring

Experience and expertise

  • Solid experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record in managing quality systems and audits
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards and regulatory requirements

Skills

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem solving
  • Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive change
  • Clear communicator with a strong customer focus

Other

  • Fluent in English
  • Comfortable working with standard IT tools such as MS Office
