What you will do
As Business Consultant for Car Refinishes Nordics, you will play a key role in driving customer value, market development, and sustainable business growth across the Nordic region. Working closely with the Country Sales Manager Nordics, Key Account Managers, and customers, you will develop and implement service solutions that strengthen customer partnerships, improve business performance, and support long-term commercial success.
You will be part of the Nordic team and report to the Country Sales Manager Nordics. This is a permanent position based in a home office setup in a Nordic country.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Lead the development of service plans per country/region in collaboration with the Sales Manager Nordics and Key Account Managers, focusing on value-added services, training, and service offerings.
• Drive the implementation of service offerings across customers, networks, chains, and distributors, ensuring alignment with agreed standards and business objectives, either directly or through approved third-party partners, including coordination of technical and sales-related activities when required.
• Gather and analyze customer needs in close cooperation with the Sales & Marketing organization to support the development of customer strategy plans.
• Actively participate in key phases of the sales process for prospects, including preparation of service proposals both internally and externally.
• Travel regularly within the Nordic region. ( Travel 3-4 days a week and 1-2 day in the home office )
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and local market networks to support business growth, strengthen partnerships, and enhance market presence.
• Use CRM and other reporting tools to maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date customer data.
• Deliver periodic progress reports, proactively share market trends, and provide recommendations for improving market approach and performance.
Who you are
To be successful in this position, you have an analytical and structured mindset and way of working. You are a strong team player with excellent networking skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. You are able to drive change and improvements with high engagement across the organization, and you thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment. You also speak a Scandinavian language, Swedish is considered a merit.
We also see that you have the following qualifications:
• Work experience – Collision repair and/or automotive industry experience is highly preferred, as well as experience from B2B environments such as paints & coatings industry. Customer/segment profiling and a minimum of +9 years of experience in technical services and support. Strong ability to understand and interpret KPIs and key business metrics, and to translate them into actionable insights and recommendations that drive change.
• Skills – Problem solving, stakeholder management with the ability to drive and implement change with customers, creating value propositions, communication and presentation skills, commercial and business acumen, and a basic understanding of financial concepts related to sales, cost to serve, and body shop management. You also speak a Scandinavian language
• Education – A degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field is considered a merit. However, we place greater value on relevant experience, industry knowledge, and a proven track record of creating customer value and driving business results.
