Job Description
1. Sell-in Management
- Achieve or exceed assigned sell-in targets for designated direct paint retailers.
- Drive expansion of the retail network by acquiring new retailer accounts.
- Identify sales opportunities to increase product distribution and market coverage.
Key Outcomes
- Achievement of retail sales targets.
- Growth in numeric distribution and retailer network.
2. Sell-out Management
- Achieve or exceed sell-out targets through retailer programs, including Mix2Win and Painter Loyalty initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the Painter and Interior Designer sales teams to drive end-user demand.
- Execute promotional activities to increase retailer, painter, and interior designer sales.
Key Outcomes
- Increased retailer sell-out.
- Improved painter sell-out performance.
- Increased interior designer sales.
3. Retail Account Management
- Build and maintain a portfolio of active retailers with consistent purchasing behaviour.
- Ensure range completion, tinting adoption, and compliance with agreed credit policies.
- Monitor receivables and minimize overdue payments.
- Improve customer satisfaction through effective account management and timely resolution of customer feedback and complaints.
- Implement approved retailer rebate and incentive programmes.
- Continuously identify and secure new retail accounts to increase market penetration.
Key Outcomes
- Increased active retailer base.
- Improved numeric distribution.
- Healthy receivables and reduced overdue balances.
- Improved customer satisfaction (eQ).
- Successful implementation of retailer incentive programmes.
Job Requirement
- Diploma, Advanced Level, or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the paints, coatings, FMCG, or building materials industry.
- Experience managing retail accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Exposure to working in a multinational environment is preferred.
- Experience in the paint or coatings industry is an added advantage.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Good understanding of retail channel management and customer development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyse sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good command of English; Mandarin/Chinese proficiency is an advantage.
