Job Purpose

  • Drive product specification and promote Powder Coatings solutions to architects, developers,consultants, fabricators, and applicators across major building and infrastructure projects.
  • Develop new business opportunities by building strong relationships within the architectural value chain.
  • Influence project specifications and ensure maximum conversion into sales by coordinating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

• Build strong relationships with architects, façade consultants, developers, and design firms to generate brand preference and secure product specifications. 
• Conduct technical presentations, Lunch & Learn sessions, and product demonstrations to promote Powder Coatings performance, durability, and compliance with standards (e.g., AAMA, Qualicoat). 
• Track and manage project pipelines from early design phases through tender, fabrication, and final product application. 
• Develop new business with fabricators, applicators, and key project influencers. 
• Support the sales team to convert winning specifications into actual sales orders. 
• Provide market intelligence on trends, competitor activities, and new project opportunities. 
• Introduce new products, color trends, and innovative coating technologies to the market. 
• Develop accurate sales forecasts for project-related business and ensure margin targets are achieved. 
• Prepare and update customer visit reports, opportunity tracking, and project developments using CRM tools.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 
• Minimum 2 years of experience in coatings, resin, construction materials, or architectural products. 
• Experience working with architects, developers, or façade-related industries is an advantage. 
• Background in powder coatings or industrial coatings is highly preferred. 
• Strong technical understanding of coating technologies (e.g., Polyester, Super Durable, TGIC-free systems). 
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for influencing decision-makers. 
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation abilities. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a structured and proactive approach. 
• Competent in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office. 
• Must have own vehicle and be willing to travel nationwide.
