About the Sales Support Administrator Role

We are looking for a Sales Support Administrator to join our global company – AkzoNobel. The role will be reporting to the Regional Sales Manager and based in our Brisbane office in Willawong.

The role will see you being the primary support person to the Regional Sales Manager and the regional sales team with day-to-day operational assistance in managing customer requirements, process initiatives, marketing materials, SAP management, training and escalations, MDG process, pricing and general administration duties for the Northern Region (QLD, NSW & ACT).

  • Proactively supporting the Sales & specification team, Customer Service, Product Management, Marketing, Accounts, IT and Sales in continuous process improvement, coordinating and organising meetings, and supporting contract management matters.
  • Being the key regional SAP contact for all SAP related queries including but not limited to, access, reporting, training, and configuration, along with maintaining an updating customer price lists both physical and in SAP.
  • Providing information and documentation to customers with a high degree of focus on quality and consistency along with assisting with sales optimisation and internal and external communications.
  • Acting as the primary contact for SAP/GBS customer maintenance including new accounts, editing/closing accounts and assisting AR & sales team with overdue and invoice queries when requested, including 3rd party external portals (Ariba).

What you will bring

We are looking for someone with previous experience (about 3-5 years) in a similar role, that has a highly developed interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and is driven and self-motivated.

  • With a strong customer focus
  • Ability to build rapport and interact with all levels of stakeholders
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge and experience with SAP
  • Has a degree or diploma in Business Administration – would be advantageous
