Job Purpose

The main objective will be to optimize the balance between service - stock - cost for the Supply Chain of the Waukegan site.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact with ICD Planning and CS teams.
  • Creates and do follow up to Stock Kit Process Orders.
  • Works with DC to schedule ICD shipments.
  • Plans SprayCans&TU
  • Support Materials Planning
  • Ensure communication between Supply Chain departments (Demand – Supply-Production). 
  • Participates in SLOB management.
  • Maintain Supply Planning metrics, systems, processes  and execute continuous improvement.
  • Participate promptly in improvement initiatives ( Training, etc.).
  • Performs other duties as required or requested.
  • Maintain MRP MD for existing materials and NPIF.
  • Contributes to CI projects and proactively identifies and signals opportunities to increase performance and efficiency.
  • Is familiar and complies with all the applicable corporate as well as site and laboratory policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct, HSE and Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) standards.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or two years higher education is required
  • 3 years or more in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • SAP experience is preferred

Rewards & Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $63,000.00 to $70,000.00. The position is eligible for an annual bonus of 4%, and employee benefits that are effective the first day of employment.  Also eligible to participate in AkzoNobel's amazing employee discount program.
