Job Purpose

Filling Operator to daily production activities in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for filling, handling, cleaning, and moving products and materials safely and accurately while following company procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will support production and warehouse operations by performing a variety of tasks, including:

  • Fill and transfer products into containers of different sizes following production and safety procedures
  • Measure and weigh materials accurately to ensure proper product quantities
  • Inspect filled containers for leaks and ensure all lids, bungs, and seals are secure
  • Clean tanks, pumps, hoses, filters, and other equipment using approved methods and tools
  • Operate equipment such as pressure washers, automated tank washers, and forklifts as needed
  • Move raw materials, finished goods, and waste materials to designated storage or disposal areas
  • Maintain clean and organized production, storage, and yard areas
  • Report safety, quality, or production concerns to supervisors promptly
  • Follow all company safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
  • Assist with other production tasks as needed based on training and business needs

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and following detailed safety procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to and follow safety instructions and product labels
  • Ability accurately measure and weigh materials
  • Ability to lift up to lbs and move heavy containers or drums safely
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in hot, cold, and industrial environments
  • Ability to wear required safety equipment, including steel-toed footwear
  • English communication skills required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in paint or chemical manufacturing
  • Forklift experience

This position is ideal for someone who is safety-focused, dependable, and working hands-on in a production environment.
