About the Role:

 

  • Serve as the main point of contact for statutory accounting topics within the finance organization for designated entities.

  • Support compliance with statutory requirements and manage risks associated with statutory deviations versus IFRS.

  • Review and ensure the quality of the statutory balance sheet and statement of income for the respective reporting entities.

  • Oversee the preparation of statutory financial filings in line with all local requirements.

  • Monitor and implement country specific statutory compliance changes in collaboration with the local Accounting Controllers.

  • Coordinate statutory audits by providing required documentation.

  • Participate in the harmonization of statutory processes across entities; initiate and implement cross-departmental improvements.

  • Share updates on statutory compliance status and proactively support the management of statutory risks.

 

About You:

 

  • Experienced accounting professional with over 5 years in accounting and financial reporting, demonstrating the ability to analyze complex processes and issues.

  • Master's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or similar certification preferred where required.

  • Proficient in statutory accounting, audits, and filings.

  • Deep knowledge of financial accounting, including IFRS, accounting processes, and tax regulations.

  • Hands-on and proactive approach; able to thrive in a fast-paced matrix organization, multitasking effectively and engaging with diverse cultures and backgrounds.

  • Clear and effective communicator, capable of engaging proactively with finance and business leadership.

  • Strong analytical skills and a commitment to driving continuous improvement in financial and statutory reporting processes.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, HFM, and Merlin, or a willingness to learn.

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

  • French language would be a big advantage.
