About the Role:
-
Prepare statutory financial filings in line with local requirements, ensuring compliance with statutory and fiscal regulations, and documenting all statutory adjustments.

Perform quality checks on statutory balance sheets and income statements; ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.

Coordinate and support statutory audits by providing required documentation, reconciliations, and samplings. Work closely with Accounting Controllers and Statutory Chief Accountants to ensure smooth audit processes.

Prepare recurring and non-recurring journal entries for statutory purposes, ensuring complete and accurate reporting during the month-end close.

Participate in harmonizing statutory processes across entities, initiating and implementing cross-departmental improvements, and collaborating with the Head of Statutory Center of Excellence for global implementation.

Share information on statutory compliance status and proactively support the management of compliance risks.

Implement country-specific statutory compliance changes in collaboration with local the Accounting Controllers.

Monitor adherence to internal control requirements, ensuring that operating procedures are applied and valid. Support interactions with local authorities and internal/external auditors.
About You:
-
Accounting professional with 3+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably within SSC.

Master's degree in Finance or Accounting with CPA or similar certification.

Experience in statutory accounting, audits, and filings.

Good knowledge of financial accounting (accounting processes, IFRS, GAAP, webFEM) and tax.

Hands-on, proactive, able to work in a fast-paced matrix organization.

Ability to work under severe time pressure during the statutory delivery process while maintaining attention to detail.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Effective communication skills to enable management of multiple relationships across different countries.

Experience with ERP, HFM, and Merlin, or a willingness to learn.

Fluent in English and French, both verbal and written.
