About the role

 

As a Senior Global FP&A Analyst, you will support the Senior Global Controller in analyzing and controlling financial matters for Global Functions. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and developing cost models to drive transparency and effective cost control worldwide. This role offers a dynamic environment where you collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize financial performance.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Analyze monthly actual costs, review purchase orders, invoices, and accruals, and provide accounting instructions to ensure IFRS compliance.

  • Prepare budgets and forecasts in collaboration with stakeholders and report on financial performance through KPI trend analyses.

  • Design and implement reports using various data sources to enhance transparency in monthly and ad-hoc performance reviews.

  • Identify cost drivers, illustrate risks and opportunities, and challenge stakeholders with financial insights.

  • Assess strategic and operational initiatives by preparing business cases and tracking financial results.

  • Contribute to process improvements, standardization, and automation across the Global Functions team.

 

Job requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, or a related analytical field.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in controlling, accounting, or FP&A roles, preferably in a large, international corporate setting.

  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to simplify complex data; PowerPoint experience is a plus.

  • Experience with SAP is highly preferred; knowledge of consolidation systems like HFM or SAP BPC is an advantage.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail, curiosity, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
