Senior Global ISC analyst will be part of the global ISC FP&A team, creating an impact by providing high value adding analysis to the supply chain organization. The person in this position will promote and implement the set-up of the FP&A ISC organization that supports the regional business navigators at large and implement and improve the global FP&A supply chain processes, like planning and budgeting, that support the strategic objectives of AkzoNobel while proactively driving culture of continuous improvement.
 

Responsibilities:

 

Leadership

  • Being the lead for the supply chain topics at global level and working with the regional supply chain analysts to create impact by providing high value adding analysis to the supply chain organization.
  • Contributing to the ISC FP&A strategy and execution as a member of the global ISC FP&A Team.

 

Strategy development and decision making

  • Being a Business partner to the ISC Supply Chain Business navigator to further improve financial insights, particular in the area of warehousing & distribution costs, inventories and slow moving inventories.
  • Implementing global FP&A Supply Chain processes, like planning and budgeting, with the overall ISC FP&A team.
  • Proactively driving culture of continuous improvement.

 

Execution

  • Driving the maturity agenda in the areas of Governance and Process Management.
  • Implementing and managing operational best practices/ efficiency programs.
  • (Co-)Defining measures, reports and metrics of performance management at Global level.
  • Providing key stakeholders a better understanding of business performance and planning projections.
  • Managing monthly reporting at global/region/cluster/country/site and business level within the agreed time cycles and ensuring standard reporting is adhered to regarding GSCLT review meetings.
  • Managing the budgeting and forecasting process for the global supply chain at global/region/cluster/country/site level and business level.

 

Continuous improvement

  • Developing policies and guidelines for the design, implementation and improvement of budget, planning and forecasting processes and timetables in line with the Integrated Business Planning.
  • Defining a standardized approach for insights into fixed and variable productivity.
  • Eliminating, simplify, standardizing and automating outputs in a structured and consistent manner.

 

Collaboration

  • Proactively helping other team members to grow and develop.
  • Being a sparring partner to the Head of ISC FP&A and the Supply Chain navigator.
  • Maintaining a close relation with Business Navigators to define measures and improve processes.

 

About you:

 

  • More than 7-10 years of leadership experience in a FP&A/Controlling role in strategic/transactional/operational finance and capable of analysing complex processes and issues.
  • Master degree in Accounting (i.e. RA, CA / CMA), Finance or Business (i.e. MBA) or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple layers in the organization.
  • Ability to manage and connect stakeholders on different levels of the organization.
  • Ability to deliver high quality work under time pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including ability to articulate recommendations across all layers in the organization in a concise and timely manner.
  • Demonstrated experience in helping analysts to grow and develop.
  • Strong ‘can-do’ mentality and ‘drive’ to accomplish tasks and deliver results o No 9-5 mindset.
  • Advanced Excel/ Power point knowledge/skills.
  • Experience in change management.
