ABOUT THE ROLE
The Regional Team Lead I2C is responsible for managing the Warsaw team of I2C Experts (10-15) throughout the O2C process to improve cash-flow, facilitating sales growth, diminishing days in arrears, minimizing bad debts, driving and monitoring efficiency and productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership

• Providing clear and strong leadership in the successful implementation of changes in policies and guidelines.  
• Ensuring I2C team has the right technical skills as well as the softer skills required to make the team a world class organization.
• Leading the team to comply with global credit management procedures and policies. 

Stakeholder management

• Cooperating with regional Head of Credit Control on local developments and improvement potential.
• Attending regular external credit information meetings throughout the region.
• Liaising with other Akzo Nobel locations in connection with not received and unallocated monies, arranging copy documentation as required.

Execution of activities

• Setting credit limits in respect of local customers using Dun & Bradstreet, or equivalent Credit Information system.
• Updating Credit management module/system in respect of known problems to provide information and guidance to Sales and Credit Control personnel in other AN offices/countries.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Essentials

• More than 5 years of finance and/or credit management experience. 
• Minimum 2 years of experience in managing a credit team.
• Tactical thinking and ability to make a difference at a regional level.
• Ability to set priorities, delegate, and develop a team independently and proactively.
• Language skills (Fluent English, additional European language would be an asset). 

Desirable Experience

• Full order to cash end to end process knowledge and experience.
• Experience in the implementation of standard processes.
• Education/Certificates/Licenses/Registration required
• Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent (experience).
