The Operational Lead Purchase-to-Pay (“P2P”) is responsible for managing the off-shore team that handles thousands of product related (PR) and non-product related (NPR) procurement requests from across the globe while ensuring compliance with global standards and control frameworks in the P2P processes.
Responsibilities:
• Monitoring the delivery of P2P processes (ALPS level 4) in a standardized manner to allow process to be performed efficiently;
• Delivering high quality process design documentation, especially for critical business processes;
• Providing training to any group in relation to the P2P processes (including training documentation);
• Managing day-to-day interaction with suppliers;
• Managing a team of regional operational officers;
• Supporting staff resource planning, organizing, and monitoring of key processes, including assisting in hiring, training, and evaluating staff, and taking effective actions to address performance matters;
• Conducting workshops and training sessions related to global process standards, methodologies and systems;
• Contacting for questions regarding P2P related topics.
Requirements:
• BA required with 5 years of work experience in a GBS environment;
• Minimum of 3 years purchasing transactions experience;
• Experience in interfacing with business operational customers in defining P2P service requirements and being part of a transition project;
• Comprehensive know-ledge of purchasing and basic understanding of supply chain management;
• Experience in P2P application systems implementation;
• Experience with SAP SRM preferred;
• Customer service mindset with excellent customer service skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills; Able to forge internal customer/ external supplier relationships.
