About the role

 

As a Junior Reports Developer, you will support FP&A, Finance, and business teams by delivering accurate, timely reporting and helping develop data-driven insights. The role focuses on report creation, dashboard development, data quality, and continuous improvement of reporting processes using Power BI, Excel, and related tools.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Generate and distribute recurring financial and business reports in line with agreed schedules, procedures, and reporting standards.
  • Ensure reports are delivered accurately and on time, particularly during month-end closing activities.
  • Maintain and monitor data quality within centralized reporting repositories.
  • Manage user access to reports and dashboards, ensuring appropriate permission levels.
  • Gather and understand reporting, visualization, and analytics requirements from finance and business stakeholders.
  • Develop, modify, and enhance reports and dashboards using Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
  • Support the automation, optimization, and standardization of reporting processes across teams.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and recommend improvements to reporting solutions and data workflows.

 

Job requirements

 

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Finance, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI and/or Microsoft Excel in a business environment.
  • Good understanding of reporting processes, standards, and business reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as SQL, Access, and related data management tools.
  • Experience working with BI and reporting solutions.
  • Understanding of FP&A processes and the role of financial reporting within an organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
