About the role
Junior Accounting Controller Greek Market is the finance leader support, who oversees all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with regulations and effective internal controls.
Responsibilities
- MyDATA reconciliation, including the timely and accurate upload, validation, and correction of accounting records in the Greek MyDATA platform, in compliance with local tax regulations.
- Warehouse book maintenance and reconciliation, ensuring that warehouse books are accurately maintained, reconciled with accounting records, and compliant with Greek statutory requirements.
- Support of Accounting Controller in areas: financial reporting, accounting operations, audit coordination, process improvement and other specific country responsibilities.
Key requirements
4+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, and capable of analysing complex processes and issues.
Experience working on Greek market.
Master’s degree in finance or accounting.
Hands on, proactive, able to work in a fast-paced matrix organization, multitasking, strong requirement to connect with people of various cultures and backgrounds.
Good communication skills.
Experience with ERP / SAP / HFM and merlin (or willing to learn).
Very good command of English and Greek.
