About the role

 

This is a 12‑month maternity cover for an HR Manager overseeing ~300 employees in Poland, mainly across Finance and Global Business Services (GBS). The role leads end‑to‑end HR activities, partnering with local and global stakeholders to drive engagement, performance, and talent outcomes. It combines operational excellence with strategic business partnering in a matrix environment.
 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Lead day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring consistent, efficient service delivery.
  • Partner with Finance, GBS and functional leaders on workforce planning, talent strategies and organizational needs.
  • Advise managers on employee relations, including performance issues, conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and monitor feedback to improve retention and workplace culture.
  • Oversee performance management and support leaders with goal setting, reviews and development planning.Implement talent development and training programs to build capability and leadership pipelines.
  • Support organizational changes and restructuring projects in line with legal and company requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with Polish labour law, company policies, and HR controls.

 

 

Job requirements

 

  • 5–7 years of HR experience, including country-level responsibility or similar scope.
  • Strong knowledge of Polish labor law and HR practices.
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders in a matrix, global environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluent Polish and English.
  • Proven ability to handle employee relations cases and influence management decisions.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, CIPD) and experience in Finance or GBS environments are a plus.
