About the role
As an FP&A Senior Analyst Commercial, you will support the Controller in overseeing all financial aspects of a specific region. Your work will drive transparency and effective cost control through detailed analyses, budgeting, forecasting, and development of cost models.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze monthly actual costs, reviewing POs, invoices, and accruals.
- Provide posting instructions to accounting to ensure accurate and timely cost recognition in line with IFRS.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts with stakeholders and report on variances through KPI trend analysis.
- Develop models for more accurate financial forecasting.
- Analyze regional performance using multiple data sources and create insightful reports.
- Challenge and support stakeholders by identifying cost drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare business cases to assess strategic initiatives and track financial outcomes.
- Drive improvements by standardizing and automating processes across the finance team.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, or a related analytical field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in controlling, accounting, or FP&A, ideally in a large international company.
- Excellent Excel skills and ability to interpret large datasets; PowerPoint experience is a plus.
- Strong advantage if experienced with SAP; knowledge of HFM or SAP BPC is beneficial.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and naturally curious.
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
