Areas of Responsibilites:

 

Managing and developing Regional FP&A organization:

  • Delivering FP&A roadmap/initiative and co-defining operational targets and goals.
  • Being responsible for driving improvement of processes within Regional FP&A in line with the Head of FP&A and establishing the single value added layer support above the Business.
  • CI mindset to work to improve rest of the team, department and organization’s performance.

 

Providing reporting and analytical support towards Regional ISC Navigator:

  • Acting as a financial planning and performance management process owner on the regional level and leading, designing, executing the Group wide financial planning and performance management process.
  • Delivering measures, reports and metrics on regional level.
  • Coordinating the execution of main control tasks by the regional FP&A team and facilitating efficient collection of quantitative and qualitative data, analysis and transformation of data into insight in order to deliver correct, timely and complete information that supports decision-making.
  • Timely delivery of Reports, Presentations, Analysis and Insights to facilitate performance management discussion on regional level.
  • Providing Ad-hoc Reporting & Analytics on request of ISC Controller, Commercial Controller and other Finance stakeholders like BU FP&As and to global functions.
  • Delivering targeted high value adding analysis on the regional level balancing an independent view from ISC and Commercial control.

 

Continuous improvement:

  • Following policies and guidelines for the design, implementation and improvement of budget, planning and forecasting processes and timetables.
  • Eliminating, simplifying, standardizing and automating outputs in a structured and consistent manner.

 

Collaboration:

  • Establishing effective collaboration on the Regional level to support Head of FP&A, ISC Controller, Commercial Controller and other Finance stakeholders.
  • Being a sparring partner to the Regional Head of FP&A.
  • Establishing effective collaboration with ISC Controllers, Commercial Controllers and other key stakeholders for the benefit of streamlined and efficient financial planning and performance process.
  • Interacting with stakeholders and counterparting on executive positions.
  • Providing general guidance and direction for the FP&A staff on how to implement and operate the FP&A processes.

Responsibilities:

 

  • More than 5 years of experience in a management role in strategic/transactional/operational finance and ability to analyze complex processes and issues.
  • Strong understanding of FP&A from a regional perspective.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting (i.e. RA, CA / CMA), Finance or Business (i.e. MBA) or equivalent.
  • Strategic thinker with strong financial and business analytical skills with the ability to analyze and assimilate data for critical business decisions in a timely manner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all layers in the organization.
  • Ability to manage and connect stakeholders on different levels of the organization and streamline and transfer standardized processes to lower cost areas/departments.
  • Previous experience in setting up and managing FP&A team or equivalent departments with regional scope.
  • Previous management experience, proven people manager with the ability to build strong teams and lead and inspire others.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex projects.
