About the role

 

The Digital Marketing Architect designs and continuously evolves the end‑to‑end digital marketing ecosystem to strengthen brand presence, enhance customer engagement, and improve marketing effectiveness through technology.
You’ll bridge strategy, technology, data, and execution—ensuring marketing platforms, tools and processes are integrated, scalable, and aligned with business goals while working closely with marketing and digital excellence teams.
 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Lead the evaluation, design, and governance of best‑in‑class digital marketing technologies and define long‑term architecture roadmaps.
  • Translate marketing goals and requirements into robust technical solutions and scalable architectures.
  • Define and evolve the architecture across the digital marketing domain, ensuring alignment with overarching business and digital strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and data management standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across delivery teams throughout project lifecycles.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve marketing performance and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to communicate architectural vision and influence decision‑making.
  • Establish documentation practices, governance frameworks, and architectural standards for marketing technology. 

 

 

Job requirements

 

  • 7+ years of experience as an IT architect in marketing technology, with expertise in headless CMS, marketing automation, DAM, loyalty systems, and CDP platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital channels and services, including social media, SEO, GEO, email marketing tools, and CDNs.
  • Proficiency in defining data models, segmentation strategies, and customer personalization frameworks; deep knowledge of product data and digital assets.
  • Experience with APIs, GraphQL, microservices, middleware, and ETL processes.
  • Solid grasp of cloud architecture, hosting environments, and security best practices.
  • Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and GenAI applications in marketing performance optimization.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder influencing skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and champion architecture governance.
