Analyst FP&A Integrated Supply Chain


Analyst reports to EMEA Head of FP&A Integrated Supply Chain, daily cooperates with Senior Analyst leading cluster activities, daily cooperates with local ISC Navigators and supports global FP&A ISC processes, like planning and budgeting. This position generates insights, particularly in the area of manufacturing productivity, product costing, CAPEX, cost of quality, product costing, warehousing and distribution cost, inventories and slow-moving inventory.


  • Analyzing current and past trends in key ISC performance indicators (FMC fixed manufacturing cost, OLC outbound logistic costs), highlighting trends and determine causes of unexpected variance.
  • Analyzing product costing across sites (tariffs) and understanding changes in the overall product costing process.
  • Providing support in CAPEX topics, explaining Manufacturing Material Efficiencies (MME).
  • Analyzing cost of supply chain – transfer between warehouses, outbound logistic, warehousing cost and also inventory levels.
  • Analyzing inventory to understand changes in Slow Moving and Obsolete categories (SLOB).
  • Developing financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives linked to continuous improvement programs or cost of quality.
  • Providing inputs to Commercial FP&A on the impact of raw material changes on COGS to enable early pricing actions.
  • Eliminating, simplifying, standardizing and automating outputs in a structured and consistent manner.
  • Forecasting on local and regional level.

Candidate profile:

  • Ideally you have more than 3 year of experience as an analyst or as a controller in a manufacturing or commercial environment / functional area.
  • You have an affinity for numbers and systems as well as strong analytical skills combined with a critical, but constructive, attitude.
  • You are able to make an independent interpretation, draw conclusions and propose solutions.
  • You are curious, eager to learn and always searching for improvement opportunities (process-wise).

Job requirements:

  • Experience in building automated reports and models.
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills coupled with accounting background / understanding of accounting concepts.
  • Strong HFM, ERP and BI systems experience.
  • Understanding of ISC topics like FMC, OLC, MME, CAPEX.
  • Strong ‘can-do’ mentality and ‘drive’ to accomplish tasks in an environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner.
