CONTRACT TYPE: TEMPORARY

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Ensure quality, safety, and productivity conditions in the construction of engineering projects
• Manage, design, determining equipment specifications and planning and prioritizing tasks.
• Hazard study contributor at Garcia site.
• Lead projects for continuous improvement and promote equipment engineering improvement with six sigma (ALPS projects) or kaizen events.
• Manage resources to comply with the requirements for the Integrated System validated for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 from external party’s audits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• SAFETY Meet TRR=0 Accomplish the activities of PSM/ SAQ / Enablon/ HSE/ BBS / Hazard Study. Zero accidents.
• Responsible for SAQ elements 3.2 MOC (Management of Change) and 5.2 Contractor Management.
• Manage the processes and documents required for the execution of engineering works
• Supervisor and ensure the standards of quality, safety and productivity of field works.
• Maintain a permanent culture of safety, order, and cleanliness in the field.
• Coordinate with the contractors the details of the field operations.
• Resolve or escalate abnormal situations that arise in the works.
• Coordinate the creation and management of permits to work with contractors.
• Contribute to the culture of continuous improvement with ideas for improvement in project management practices, mainly at the field level.
• Support the engineering team with installation activities when required.
• Continuously promote improvement in the management of engineering projects.
• Supervises suppliers and / or contractors who are performing work related to the project area and is authorized to sign special work permits.
• Know and apply the company's integrity and ethics values, Code of Conduct and Principles against Bribery, participate in related trainings in person or online.
• Responsible for communicating changes within their report lines. face-to-face or online.
• Evaluation and selection of competent third-party professional service providers who will execute the engineering work and participate in capital projects and monitor their performance.
• Ensure the execution and compliance with change management procedures, documentation, and follow-up of derived actions.
• Ensure the training, motivation, and awareness of staff within its organizational structure.
• Responsible for communicating changes within their reporting lines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Engineer degree
• Project experience desirable (3-5 years)
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Knowledge and experience on national and international engineering standards.
• Participate in the investigation of accidents and incidents and the development and review of policy and objectives.
• Communication skills, Analysis and solution of problems, Initiative and decision making, Leadership
• Lean six sigma knowledge and experience
