  • Industrial, Chemical or related engineering

Experience

Main Objectives / Main Responsibilities

 

  • Supervise the staff of the companyto ensure an efficient and safe environment at work in theopening of painting, filling in the tambos, storage and shipment.
  • This position has the power to stop the production process in case of non-compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards.
  • Responsible for the administration of budgets ofthe Production area.
  • Ensure that quality specifications in all manufactured products  are met.
  • Ensure compliance and implementation of legal and corporate requirements, national and international standards in terms of safety and environment for the teams of the Production area, as well as the communication of these to the personnel that operates or works in critical areas.
  • Implement corrective actions derived from accidents/incidents. Likewise, recognize the need and search for professional technical assistance for areas that are beyond their knowledge and experience without delegating responsibility.
  • Director of the Internal Unit of Immediate Response.
  • Inform the Plant Manager of serious deficiencies in compliance with HSE&S standards.
  • Ensure that the activities that are so required are delegated to competent external professional services.
  • Communicate the specific requirements applicable to all personnel in the plant that operates or works with critical elements in accordance with Asset Integrity and Process Safety.
  • Actively participate to implement process activities, equipment and production procedures ensuring the competence of professional resources so that the integrity of plant engineering is taken care of in the relevant equipment and civil works.
  • Ensure the implementation of corrective actions derived from audits, accidents/incidents, change management, risk studies and inspections associated with processes and operations in the field of safety, health and environment.
  • Leader of Risk Studies, integrates and coordinates the Risk Analysis team.
  • Authorizes changes or modifications to critical elements.
  • Be part of the APQP advanced planning and execution team.
  • Ensure the detection of training needs of its employees, creation of training plan and compliance with it, as well as the awareness of the personnel in charge.
  • Responsible for communicating changes within your reporting lines.
  • Ensure compliance with the legal and Quality, Safety, Health and Environment standards indicated by Akzo Nobel and the Client, as well as the implementation in the plant of the required technical and administrative measures.
  • Know and apply the values of local and company integrity and ethics, as well as the Code of Conduct including the Anti-Bribery Principles and the Global Competition Law, and participate in related trainings in person or online.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing systems.
  • Show visible leadership for the application of preventive measures recommended by the Secretary of Health and mandatory protocols of our corporation to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

 

Job context

 

This position is responsible for the management of the production and logistics area of the site, as well as personnel administration and continuous improvement of the department.
