Job Purpose

Performs all activities relating to Manufacturing operations at Vanderbijlpark site.

Key Responsibilities

Safety - Will Safely operate all equipment and will operate within the Work instructions provided.
Always comply to the eight Life Saving Rules (Consequence management)
Apply Golden Principle where a person is acting wrong, or machinery is not safe.
Process: Always follow the eight (8) Process Safety Fundamentals.
Will comply with company safety policies.
Paint making – Safely operate the relevant machinery for manufacturing paints and intermediates.
Request & double check all raw materials that have been issued by the warehouse, cross checks, and records on the batch card the ingredients used with raw material batch numbers.
Follows batch card manufacturing instructions until complete.
Ensure to keep equipment clean and rinse pumps and pipelines to ensure RFT and superior quality products with no accidental contamination.
Able to manufacture paint on both bulk and smalls production areas.
Be able to be multi skilled and work in all spheres of production.
Housekeeping (5S) to be of an extremely high standard, >80%!
Work with integrity and honesty.
Will be responsible for filling and labelling products.
Open lines of communication and reporting.
General - Operates safely within the work instructions provided.

Experience

Matric (Grade 12)
Walk behind licence.
Ability to communicate in English
