Transportation Specialist

Job Purpose

1. Understand and implement  AKZO HSE&S policy  
2. Cost performance objectives (under forecasted sales volume)
3. Continuous improvement and process optimization
4. Service and quality objectives for business support
5. Manage FG outsourcing warehouse and third part logistics Company (3PL)

Key Accountabilities

1. Responsible for Site transportation daily operation management (to complete order transportation tracking, dealing with all customer complaints, etc.), and establish transportation operation standardized workflow by sop document

2. To properly handling some emergency transportation cases, and some abnormal situation during distribution

3. To follow up the cause analysis of all transportation safety accident, meanwhile committed to control and reduce the occurrence of accidents

4. Responsible to the evaluation of 3PL service level, and regularly review, constantly improving 3PL service level

5. Responsible for transportation cost control and optimize the transportation cost

6. Coordinate with sales department to maintain the customer relationship

7. Support site logistic manager to develop the site transportation service capacity

8. Coordinate and communicate with different department. For example: Manufacturing ,Planning, Customer Services, etc）

9. Continuous improvement in 3PL safety and quality, and process optimization etc

10. Responsible for logistics Data Analysis: Regularly collect, organize, and analyze logistics operational data (e.g., transportation costs, delivery times, cargo volume, supplier KPIs), 

generate reports, and provide data-driven insights and feasibility recommendations to optimize logistics

11. Other tasks assigned by Manager

Experience

1. Urgency order dispatch by full truck
2. Handling service for Key Account Customer
3. Authorization of FG property takes out of daily operation
