Job Purpose

 

 

Key Accountabilities

• Review and approve technical documents and specifications provided by sales teams, ensuring alignment with group standards and policies. Offer technical support to the sales team within assigned areas.

• Assist in resolving product-related claims and complaints from both technical and commercial perspectives, minimizing liabilities.

• Establish an internal technical help desk to assist sales and technical service teams with queries. Regularly conduct technical seminars, customer visits, and training sessions to support both internal staff and external customers, ensuring IP security and business continuity.

• Provide technical support to the Contract & Commercial department on guarantee and technical matters, helping to manage risks and liabilities.

• Build relationships with industry stakeholders by participating in conferences, site visits, and standards committees.

• Lead customer technical seminars, primarily focusing on corrosion protection and paints, and address a wide range of customer technical issues.

• Promote new and key products from a technical standpoint, recommending suitable paint systems and solutions to both sales teams and customers.

• Maintain ongoing communication with the headquarters’ technical department for consultation and updates.

Experience

• Master’s degree in Materials Chemistry, Corrosion and Protection, Materials Engineering, or Corrosion Engineering.

• 5 years of experience in the paint or coatings industry or Freshman.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Team-oriented and able to thrive under pressure.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

• Location: Tianjin, Qingdao, Guangzhou.
