Job Purpose

As part of the ICO to provide technical Support to Sunshine Solutions Lab Technical / Commercial ICO team, the incumbent will develop and maintain  Coil product portfolio for ANZ MET Coatings, provides professional delivery of technical support and sales service and support to both internal and external customers.

Key Accountabilities

- Maintaining recipe and product portfolio of ANZ MET Coatings
- Responsible for delivery of small or non-complex (sub)projects within the R&D function, delivering new product or optimisation of processes as per project plan & deliverables
- Provide technical service support to Sunshine Solutions Lab Technical / Commercial ICO team
- Evaluating an optimizing formulations so they are designed to enable consistent manufacture in the manufacturing plant, and that procedures are followed
- Prepare a report that compiles and concludes evaluation results and findings and update guidelines
- Collects, filters and prioritizes product-related issues and needs occurring at customers with feedback of complaints handling.
- Conducts and/or assists in the testing process as well as in the implementation of new company products and technologies. Testing including lab testing, testing before and after trials, problem solving and product development. 
- Helps with process optimisation and operational excellence both internally and or at the customer’s location.
- Together with local Technical and Commercial team, developing the solution on product specification for product portfolio
- Liaison with local Technical and Commercial team to communicate information for new development products/processes at an appropriate stage to allow planning for smooth introduction / transition with internal and external customers.



To be a successful applicant, you shall possess:

- 3-6 years of experience in the Industrial Coatings industry
- Good understanding of the Coatings technologies platforms
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry / Polymer Science or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, influencing, result oriented, problem solving, project management
- Very good English language skills
