Job Purpose
Supports and assures the Customer Service Team’s highly professional interactions with customers associated with their order processing, complaint registration, general management and information requirements.
Provide a Customer Service function for all Business divisions operating from Sunshine, Victoria as required.
Key Accountabilities
- To manage order receipt efficiently, prioritizing timely order processing and good customer interactions and relationships.
- Supports the order-to-cash process with excellence in order processing.
- Registers and processes customer orders in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system received via, electronic mail, phone or through other contact with the customer.
- Acts as first level contact with customer for answers to questions and in attempting to resolve complaints.
- Obtains adequate customer and product knowledge to find solutions for customer needs (e.g. additional and/or alternative products).
- Makes proposals for improvements on work processes.
- Completes registering / filing / archiving of customer service-related documentation.
- Operate with flexibility and co-operation as part of the Australasian team.
- Support and assist the Regional Customer Experience Manager, and other members of the Sunshine team as required.
- Adheres to all applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct/HS&E standards and acts in compliance with all regulations.
- Attend WISE meetings

Experience
Required:
Relevant administration and Customer Service experience
Competent computer and clerical skills
Customer focus, team orientated, flexibility and attention to detail
Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Highly developed organizational skills
Initiative and the ability to deal with a number of activities simultaneously
Ability to respond to changing priorities
Desirable:
Working knowledge of SAP Saturn applications
Knowledge of Protective Coatings and / or the Shipping Industry
Familiar with dispatch, stock control procedures and documentation
Familiar with painting applications (tinting processes, shade standards, etc)
Education
Minimum Year 10 education
