Job Purpose
You will oversee the Asset Management system, for processes and plant at our paint manufacturing site in Stowmarket. You will use the principles of performance evaluation and prediction to facilitate the improvement of safety, reliability, maintainability and operability of physical assets. You will also gather and analyse asset performance data to ensure that assets are achieving their desired functionality safely, without environmental harm and with minimal lifetime cost.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide engineers across site with tools & techniques for root cause problem solving & maintenance optimization.
• Ensure all statutory & AkzoNobel guidelines are met.
• Ensure capture & analysis of maintenance data/equipment work histories to support work of maintenance engineers
• Collaborate with engineering colleagues to identify areas of improvement.
• Accountable for Asset Tactics schedule & execution.
• Support the development of a systematic equipment maintenance strategy.
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement principles to reduce & control loss/waste.
• Coach, nurture & develop site team.
Job Requirements
• Educated to A Level (or equivalent)
• Process & Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience of managing engineering teams in a 24/7 environment.
• Proven track record of implementing TPM maintenance systems.
