Job Purpose

Manage and strengthen all packaging lab activities to support business growth in China and Taiwan, support revenue 80 mln EUR .- 60%
Ensuring end to end project management, incorporating relevant experiments, methodology and tools, intellectual property, knowledge development and customer needs, using AkzoNobel project management standards. - 20%
Coordinate B&B related R&D activities as point of contact for R&D Asia, ensuring proper stakeholder management and delivery of value for the customer. - 10%
Is lead R&D contact for customer and attends customer meeting and develops overview and technology presentations. - 10%

Key Accountabilities

Leading a larger team and ensuring execution and delivery of agreed plans, using multiple areas of expertise available
Ensuring preparation, testing, developing, analysing and researching elements (e.g. problems, questions, ideas) in own discipline
Implement project management best practices to drive successful project outcomes.
Foster a positive team environment through leadership and development initiatives.

Experience

Technical educational in relevant field, e.g. chemistry, polymer science, chemical engineering.

Strong business acumen, development mindset and structure thinking ability.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Professional skill in formulation, new product development, trouble shooting, etc.

Typically +15 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree, or
Typically +10 years of relevant experience with Master’s degree, or
Typically +6 years of relevant experience with Ph.D.
