Industrial Placement Analyst 
1 Year placement starting July 2025 
£24,000 per annum plus relocation allowance**
Slough, Berks. SL2 5DS

Job Purpose 
You will gain valuable work experience supporting various data driven optimisation projects covering a range of business-critical requirements such as enhancing commercial reporting, margin management tools, master data excellence, and pricing initiatives.  We are in an exciting period of driving our data architecture and data capability forwards including cloud-based data lakehouse technology and using Microsoft Fabric to drive the next generation in business analytics to support business decision making.

 

Job Responsibilities 
•    Run and maintain existing reporting processes to required deadlines.
•    Collaborate across the commercial functions to define business questions that need answering, the sources of information required, and building robust data processes and reports to meet the needs ongoing.
•    Communicate results of investigations or solutions to business problems to stakeholders.

 

Job Requirements 
•    Currently studying for a relevant degree requiring a placement year in industry – MSc in Business Analytics preferred.
•    Experience of managing and manipulating data to solve problems.
•    Some knowledge of business essentials / finance / data analysis.
•    Computer literate, experience with Excel including Power Query and Power BI.
•    Able to learn new tools / techniques quickly.
