Job Purpose

• To assist and support the North and South Asia Yacht sales team to achieve the agreed revenue and volume targets by providing technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders and customers.
• To assist and support the Technical Co-Ordinator - Asia Pacific in achieving the agreed regional technical goals.

Key Accountabilities

• Deliver practical and theoretical training to customers on the use of and application techniques of the company products. 
• Support the sales team by providing technical guidance, training, and support to assist them in achieving their individual objectives and the team’s goals.
• Assist the sales team in educating customers on the technical requirements of the available product lines and promoting the available support tools.
• Proactively prevent and solve problems of a technical nature.
• Conduct Awlmix audits in house and at relevant distributors.
• Conduct new product demonstrations. 
• Repeatedly call on key existing and potential customers with the Account Managers.
• Attend all relevant meetings as required and represent the North and South Asia Yacht business.
• Continually look for internal and external business improvement opportunities and work with stakeholders to implement change.
• Be an active and engaged member of the Asia Pacific Yacht Sales Team.
• Create an open environment in the team where all people can perform at their best. Stimulate the development and upskilling of the team.
• Actively update CRM and Case Management with customer and complaint information. 
• Deliver periodical business reports/reviews.
• Attend all relevant meetings as required and represent the North and South Asia Yacht business.
• Work closely with the both internal and external stakeholders i.e. Awlmix Operators, Distributors Technical Services, Customer Services 

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of technical paint experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• NACE qualified or equivalent.
• Ability to adopt an analytical approach and to conduct root cause analysis on customer paint defects.
• Prior success meeting and/or exceeding sales/business development goals.
• Experience working with complex supply routes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with key decision makers at all levels across a diverse range of countries.
• An understanding of the Yacht paint market and the various product types
• Professionalism, passion, and drive.
• Mid to High-level proficiency with MS Office and CRM programs.
• The ability to travel throughout the NSEA region, on short notice.

 

Role to be based out from Singapore or China
