Job Purpose

•    Keep updated and implement global treasury guidelines and propose with supervisor for necessary adjustment.
•    Keep updated of local new regulation, independently analyze the impact and discuss with the relevant parties to ensure compliance from treasury perspective and to add value to AkzoNobel whenever is possible.
•    Manage and expand banking relationship and bring new initiatives.
•    Take the initiative and drive streamlining of treasury processes.
•    Implement and optimize group treasury guidelines and local regulated procedures, to ensure internal & external compliance with regard to all treasury activities.
•    Cooperate with Global Treasury, Regional function teams and local companies to ensure effective and efficient cash management and funding structure. 
•    Maintain a good working relationship with relevant regulatory authorities and provide support to ad hoc inquiries from business partners. 
•    Cooperate with internal related functions/departments on internal requests and find solution. 

Key Accountabilities

•    Set up related treasury operation guidelines
•    Risk management and hedging procedure cooperation and analysis
•    Related authorities’ audits/reports/requests coordination & monitoring
•    Asia Countries’ financial market Policy and regulation update
•    Actively communication with various internal stakeholders, such as GBS functions, BU commercial finance, Procurement, etc.
•    Capital measures planning and execution
•    Direct, monitor and trade investment portfolios including Working capital, and other portfolios. 
•    Prepare or monitor company’s various cash flow forecasts and perform liquidity planning
•    Understand and manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes concerning applied treasury instruments. 
•    Manage and expand relationships with financial service providers(banks).
•    Monitor bank service and address quality issues. 
•    Evaluate alternative long-term borrowing strategies and make recommendations in accordance with the capital structure guidelines. 
•    Recommend, implement and maintain End-to-End process improvements. 
•    Provide technical and other support for mergers and acquisitions and other projects as needed. 
•    Drive and lead Trade Finance project and monitor the implementation
•    Provide treasury related training to internal stakeholders
•    Insurance program APAC coordinator

Experience

•    Education: Professional in finance or accounting, MBA/CFA is a plus

•    Working Experience: 5-10 years working experiences in treasury management in MNCs or banks

•    Skills, Technical & Professional Knowledge: Microsoft Office, SAP, Power BI, Bloomberg, etc. Good at learning and willing to learn. Self-motivated and self-disciplined. Work independently and drive the projects/topics. Strong logic thinking and good analytic skills
