Job Purpose

• Developing new products for wind coating (50%)

• Testing/support of existing products and coating systems (20%)

• To support activities in providing support processes (10%)

• Developing fundamental understanding of key coating attributes(10%)

• Carrying out trials/inspection/batch scale up (10%)

Key Accountabilities

• Design, carry-out, evaluate & interpret experiments under own direction

• Executes lab activities according to technical procedures, methodology and guidance

• Understand drivers for work and translate to product requirements in relation to business requirements

• Effectively report results, propose conclusions and recommendations within agreed timescales using appropriate methods

• Plan, conduct and evaluate trials(e.g field application, production process, etc) and factory/pilot plant scale up as planned

• Prepare formulation/technology transfer packages

• Understand standard products, technologies and its application

Experience

- >5 years of anti-corrosive coating developing experience (wind coating experience preferred)

- Bachelor’s degree is minimum, Master’s degree preferred, in material science, polymer chemistry or related subject

- Ability to design and plan work, draw conclusions and make recommendations

- Ability to problem solving methodology across a range of situations

- Good English in both verbal and written

- Ability to conduct appropriate technical work programs
