Job Purpose

Main contact point in bow-tie structure to coordinate Commercial and ISC to align the target and action. 

Responsible for materials and supply plan, RDC Planning, RM Purchasing in site IPSH and PCSZ for MPY China. 

Confirm the production output after balancing FMC cost and commercial target.

Inventory Level management to support business with effective cost both in Material and in Logistics.

Key Accountabilities

1. **Supplier Management:**  
   - Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.  
   - Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to optimize cost and quality.  
   - Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to delivery, quality, or compliance.  

2. **Inventory Management:**  
   - Plan and manage raw material inventory levels to support production schedules while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence.  
   - Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.  
   - Implement inventory control strategies to optimize working capital and reduce carrying costs.  

3. **Material Planning:**  
   - Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to forecast raw material requirements based on production plans and demand forecasts.  
   - Ensure accurate and timely placement of purchase orders to meet production needs.  
   - Monitor material usage trends and adjust planning parameters as needed.  

4. **Cost Management:**  
   - Track and analyze raw material costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings.  
   - Prepare reports on inventory value, material usage, and procurement expenses.  
   - Support budget planning and cost control initiatives.  

5. **Risk Management:**  
   - Identify potential supply chain risks (e.g., supplier disruptions, market fluctuations) and develop mitigation strategies.  
   - Maintain a contingency plan for critical raw materials to ensure business continuity.  

6. **Compliance and Documentation:**  
   - Ensure all procurement and inventory activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.  
   - Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts, purchase orders, and inventory transactions.  

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Chemistry, or a related field.  
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing industry.  
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.  
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.  
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.  
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.  

**Preferred Qualifications:**  
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.  
- Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
