Job Purpose

The role provides a variety of management and professional support across the organization with an emphasis on operational efficiency and effectiveness. The DPOM coordinates and leads several activities that are directly under the responsibility of the Deco Project China Operation Lead as well as serves as  an internal agent within the organization to support and/or lead a variety of initiatives aimed at increasing organizational effectiveness in Deco Project China. 

Key Accountabilities

This role serves as the point of contact to manage the operational aspects on behalf of Deco Project team. 

  • Develop and formulate the project channel product segments and sub-channel strategy and can execute excellence together with Sales channel regional sales 
  • Identify, create and close the capabilities gaps vs competition and to execute the capabilities closing gaps in both products and channels
  • Create and solidify our brand and channel core competency vs competition and able to champion priorities and resources cross functional, peers, teams and stakeholders on the needs 
  • Able to develop and articulate the sales strategy plans, but also to track and deliver the granular actions with measurable milestones. 
  • Liaise effectively across the organization & communicate easily with staff in the full spectrum of technical roles and at all organizational levels.  
  • Work closely with the Deco Project China Controller and commercial assistant on a day to day basis.
  • Standardize account planning and operation management methodology
  • Provide support for a variety of special initiatives at the direction of the Deco Project Channel Director. The nature and scope of the initiatives will vary considerably depending on organizational needs. 
  • Identify and propose initiatives related to strengthening operational efficiency and/or organizational effectiveness.

Experience

  • Sales strategy development thinking and execution capabilities
  • Able to speak and communicate both English and Chinese
  • Prefer with both MNC international and local relevant industries experiences
  • Demonstrate skills to lead a sizable organization in his/her experiences
  • Ambition and aggressive to do more, and able to lead organization from behind competition but dare to win strategically.
  • Minimum 10 years of related business experience and requested skill, with substantial project management and field and office management experience.
  • Exercise considerable independent judgment, employ exceptional analytical skills, and communicate clearly and effectively. 
  • Be well organized, a problem solver, can multi-task with ease and is results  driven. 
  • Strong decision-making ability and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent writing, communication, analytical and negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to work with a diverse set of staff in various technical areas and at different levels.
