Job Purpose

  • Plan and manage roll out of global/regional  initiatives, including local translations and communication
  • Support the regional compensation & benefits program harmonization and effectiveness for the local businesses
  • Support in Capability Building in training and educating local HR and line managers in the Country on policies, processes and programs
  • Participate in the local market salary & benefits benchmarking exercise
  • Variable Compensation (i.e. short term incentive, sales incentive program) – ensure consistent way of managing the variable compensation scheme & calculation
  • Support in the Job Evaluation Process
  • Support in the Global/Regional/Country specific Rewards Project

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensuring harmonized and effective compensation and benefit programs for the local businesses in line with global and regional policies, processes, timelines and governance
  • Develops local benefit policies in line with Corporate and Regional framework and based on local benchmarking, following predefined governance process
  • Execute designated CoE process(es) in the Country in line with HR plan and Global/Regional guidelines
  • Support in the Global Key HR Processes such as annual salary review, promotion process, budgeting process, etc
  • Keep up to date on best practices and any legal, fiscal or organizational changes which may impact the local CoE delivery
  • Key metrics - measure impact of country CoE delivery in line with CoE KPIs, ensure continuous improvement and take action when required
  • Trains Local HR and line managers in the country on compensation policy and framework. Ensures that communication materials are prepared for employees
  • Support in the Global/Regional/Country specific Rewards Project
  • Support in the Job Evaluation Process
  • Provides supports for local negotiations with unions and/or works councils where appropriate 
  • Ensures that all employment contract templates are complete, information pack is prepared and necessary information/training materials are available to onboard. Trains Talent resourcing in preparing appropriate offers of employment
  • Compiling financial targets and results for locally driven short term incentive & sales incentive program
  • Working with GBS/Local People Services Services to ensure process is fit for purpose


  • Degree in Human Resources, legal or other related areas
  • At least 10 years of HR generalist experience in HR, with 8 years of relevant experience in compensation and benefits, preferably in a multinational business environment
  • Possess knowledge of local labor law, pensions, Collective Labour Agreement (CLA)’s
  • Native local and fluent English (both written and spoken)
  • Talented in getting things done by creating buy-in and convincing others
  • Experience in successfully working in advisory organization or international organization or complex environment
  • Ability to travel when needed
