Key Accountabilities

Support Treasury Function and businesses with Treasury activities: 1. Execute and monitor daily China cash pool activity to ensure China cash pool run smoothly, including review/release requests for DOD temporary limit increases 2. Monitor and track cash pool cash flow forecast to manage the liquidity of China cash pool, and support GBS Finance to improve the accuracy of forecast. 3. Prepare cashpool consolidated cashflow forecasts, cashpool month end reports etc 4. Monitor and drive the centralization of cash in CN to HSBC cash poolJob Description 3 AkzoNobel 5. Propose and execute CNY short-term investment transactions, such as 7D call deposit, MMF etc, perform month-end reconciliations and reporting. 6. Execute CNY cross-border pool activities (e.g. upstream loans) 7. Collect and reconcile BAD detailed data to support monthly BAD management reporting for treasury and business.

Key Activities

Manage the user administration of external Electronic Banking Systems (EBS) and internal SAP Treasury user access change requests via Treasury tool. 8. Support Business and GBS/Infosys users on how to use ServiceNow platform to raise requests correctly 9. Support the Treasury Hub to maintain and control the setups of key cash management banks’ EBS and e-commerce platforms that are managed by Treasury according to Treasury procedures and tool (jointly with GBS MDM) 10. EBS super administrator. Process user access change requests via ServiceNow, security devices and authorization limits in line with Treasury, Business and GBS policies 11. Support the businesses, Internal Controls and Treasury Controller to conduct periodic reviews of EBS users’ access 12. Implement changes and upgrades to existing banking software and systems 13. Assist end-users to resolve basic functionality issues of EBS and escalate to bank contacts for more complex support.

Experience

Support Treasury Function and businesses with In-housebank (IHB) and other banking activities 14. Execute and monitor daily IHB/ Payment Factory activities (secondary Treasury Operations user). Also a backup as Key User for SAP testing activities 15. Coordinate the maintenance of static data in SAP Treasury systems to align with TBI activities 16. Maintain/monitor ServiceNow Treasury & Insurance helpdesk to respond to queries from both internal and external parties in line with IHB service level agreement 17. Treasury contact for addressing business issues on payments and banking (bank keys, international banking payment methods and routing instructions) 18. Support Corporate Finance through taking ownership of bank arrangements when large flows are planned that exceed normal transaction limits 19. Deploy and provide guidance on treasury policies for the business. Monitor and escalate identified non-compliance with Treasury policies, and document approved policy exceptions 20. Provide support and back-up for the other functions of the Treasury department (Control & Accounting, Operations, Financial Markets, FX Risk Management, Infrastructure & Project and Corporate Finance) to work on various special projects on an “as needed” basis.

Education

- An university graduate in Accountancy, Finance Business Administration or equivalent, - At least 3-4 years of treasury back office and/or cash management experience in a comparably organization - Good understanding of banking practices in China including cash-pool management, and preferably knowledge of international banking, regulations especially in APAC region - Experienced and proficient in the use of different payments types / routing instructions. - Hands on knowledge with administration of electronic banking platforms. - Proficient in working with SAP Treasury, Excel, PowerPoint and other IT related productivity tools - Good communicator, both orally and in writing. - Fluent in the use of both oral and written Chinese and English.
