Job Purpose

Ensures execution of the agreed sales in East China, selected cost from the P&L- and profitability related targets established by the Business within multiple districts, constituting the sales area by managing the subordinated field force and organizing high quality sales support infrastructure required in the execution of sales processes. Has leadership element to their role.

Key Accountabilities

•    Fully understand and aligned to the Company Overall Business Strategy.
•    Understand the business model we have and its impact on the region
For retail channels:
-    Understand the retail channel built around the customer interface.
-    Can develop business strategy around the different retail channels at regional level and can tactically deliver the strategy.
-    Knows how to build up organization competencies.
For Geographic coverage:
-    Understand the geographic difference in the region and between other regions.
-    Build up differentiated business plan from city to city based on the understanding of the competition in each city and the customer buying behaviors in each city.
For Product:
-    Understand the company’s overall brand strategy.
-    Can effectively manage the brand portfolio and know where and how to contribute to the new product development to seek competitive edge.
-    Strong business acumen and can quickly identify the winning opportunities.
•    Go beyond pure sales management and can lead a cross function team and work effectively under a highly matrix organization structure.
•    Has strong will and skill in developing people and team capability.
•    Highly adaptive and skilled in terms of interfacing with different kinds of customers, from international customer to local traditional customer, from distributor to project developer.
•    Know how to manage the team effectiveness through process and procedures.
•    Financial intelligent, know how to read the financial report and can understand the stories/issues illustrated by the numbers in the financial report. Know how to set smart KPIs in a balance score card way.
•    Lead the regional team to achieve regional financial targets including regional sales top-line target, regional P&L target.
•    Manage regional promotion and BTL activities’ execution and cost control.

Experience

  • University degree or above
  • At least 10 years working experiences on retail channel management in multi-national companies of FMCG industry or Chemical industry
  • Strategic thinking with good analytical skills
  • Knowledge of financial P&L report analysis
  • Leadership ability
  • Good interpersonal skill
  • Strong communication and presentation skill
  • Result driven
  • Be able to muti-task and prioritize
