Key Accountabilities

Leads Margin Management activities in the region; acts as focal point and center of expertise. 

Supports Margin Management process within the allocated region and countries by supporting preparation of (annual) margin management target meetings (margin management cycle and price workshops).

Supports (global/regional) action plans for margin improvement and translates them into local plans (e.g. by segment, brand, product, customer, sales rep).

Supports and monitors implementation in line with action plans and strategy (e.g. increasing core assortment, implement price increase, optimize product mix, optimize customer mix, reduce complexity, reach market share target).

Acts as first level contact with countries for answers to questions relating to pricing and in attempting to resolve pricing challenges/opportunities.

Makes proposals for improvements on pricing work processes.

Adheres to all applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct/HS&E standards and acts in compliance with all regulations.

Key Accountabilities 2

Coordinates progress on action plans for margin improvement and price increases within the allocated region by monitoring and reporting on progress made.

Prepares monthly and quarterly margin management information for Regional Management Meeting and PMR (part of IBP process), (e.g. product mix development / price increase implementation).

Prepares Margin-A4 for Regional Marketing Manager, Manager Strategic Account Subregion, Area Sales Manager and Sales Rep (e.g. product mix / price increase implementation).

On request, executes various volume, value and margin calculations within allocated region (e.g. when ICD prices are changed or when market circumstances are changing).

Provides input on product specific terms.

Provides feedback on Global price positioning and final price proposals from Margin Management Segment.

Monitors implementation of correct prices and terms to safeguard margin targets. Reports deviation to Regional Marketing Manager/Regional Commercial Director/Country Sales Manager and proposes on improvement.

Key Accountabilities 3

Responsible for price - and margin calculation for local promotions.

Provides input for deal calculator: competitor, terms and product mix (excluding Tender, S1

Manufacturer, Work provider and Importer that are centrally dealt with).

Validates deal calculator if new customer is in line with current customers on terms, product mix and competitors.

Participates in the product step of monthly Product Management Review (PMR) part of IBP and supports by providing price increase and promotions data.

Specialist in execution of My Margin tools (Competitor Comparison, Market share analysis, Price positioning tool and Tools within SAP Business Intelligence).

Addresses inconsistency in customer classification and product classification data within the region.

Cooperates with Sales Support on providing Business Intelligence (Market share, competitor price comparison etc).

Gets familiar with all applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct/HS&E standards and acts in compliance with all regulations.

Job Requirements

You have completed relevant education (Bachelor Economic/Finance/Business Management)

You have at least 3 years of work experience in a similar (managerial) position;

You have an overview; you know how to prioritize and you are decisive

You are pragmatic and easily make connections between functions, departments, projects and activities;

Demonstrates ownership and expected behaviors even if challenged

Establishes and achieves stretch goals and timelines

Understands customers needs and helps team to understand
