Job Purpose

  • Led by Demand Manager, execute activities throughout defined scope to work out a 36 mth demand forecast and properly operate the DMR supporting activities.
  • Follow the IBP process cycle to run routine regional sales huddles, S&OE meetings.
  • Execute BU/global demand planning projects deployment action requirement in the region.
  • Key interface between Commercial teams and Supply Chain.
  • Work closely with sales team, supply chain, customer service team to improve forecast accuracy, and service level to the customers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build monthly forecast using statistical tool, and market input on landscape of 36 months.
  • Ensure all sales teams have sales plan input in time.
  • Timely update forecast based on sales input and transfer to ISC.
  • Please an important role of interface between sales team and supply chain in day to day work.
    Refine forecast based on latest information on a day to day basis.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product managers to incorporate Product plan into Demand plan.
  • Follow up the forecast accuracy and bias in order to achieve the required target.
    Ensure forecasts uploaded to enable MRP to execute well and correctly.
    KPI’s driver and reporting i.e.  Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Vulnerabilities and Opportunities.
    Work out high quality demand plans and adequate forecasting accuracy.
  • Actively participate in Planning Continuous improvement initiatives, Eye-on, APT, SMART etc.
  • Facilitate S&OE, and demand reviews by projects, support CDM on DMR process.
  • Work closely with CS and supply chain team to improve service level.

Key Activities

Improve cross functional relationships to facilitate high performance (internal).
Frequent contacts with commercial teams to gather Market intel and understand Customer strategies that can be translated into forecasting (external).


•    Minimum 3-5 years working experience in Demand Planning /Demand Management/Integrated Supply Chain

•    Analytical, can work independently, excellent communication skills & inter-personal skills.
•    Business acumen, understand  requirements from internal and external customer and acts upon these
•    Stakeholder management; able to manage stakeholders in various functions and levels of the organization
•    Coordinating skills; Prioritize and coordinate different requirements to ensure customer satisfaction and solid end to end delivery
•    Communication skills; understands and speaks language of internal and external stakeholders
•    Language requirements: local language and excellent English skills
•    System skills: Familiar with ERP systems - SAP, DART, Excel, Power BI, MS PowerPoint
•    APICS Certified would be a plus 


Education: Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering
